Sunday, November 6, immediately before or after worship, members and friends are invited to the annual Pupusa meal at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church. This is a fundraiser for Santa Cruz al Salvador, one of Trinity's mission partners.
Several members of the congregation plan to participate in the November and January delegations to meet with the families in the community of Guillermo Ungo and facilitate a special medical and dental clinic. All proceeds from the luncheon will benefit the community with a special emphasis on educational resources for the children.
Pupusas are similar to corn tortillas, only thicker and stuffed with cheese, beans or meat. The menu also will include salad, beverage, and dessert. Donations of $10/adult, and $5/child will be accepted.
